The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 11 and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) will conduct an In-person Public Meeting on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the I-376 Parkway West – Green Tree Interchange Improvement Project located in Green Tree Borough. We are asking for your help in sharing the attached Public Meeting advertisement with your communities. The purpose of the project is to improve operations and mobility within and near the I-376 Green Tree interchange (Exit 67) thereby improving congestion, safety, and connectivity. The project will look to address the following:
• Reconfiguration of the interchange ramps at Green Tree
• Realignment and widening of Greentree Road (Route 121) and Mansfield Avenue
• Widening of Poplar Street
• Replacement of the structure carrying Greentree Road over I-376 (Parkway West)
• Widening of the structure carrying I-376 (Parkway West) over Poplar Street
• Extending the third lane on westbound/outbound I-376 (Parkway West)
The project is anticipated to begin construction in 2029.
Public awareness throughout the design process is very important to the success of this project. The project team will be available to answers questions and gather feedback from residents, community groups, and Parkway West users regarding the project.
